Stainless steel scrap

Scrap is an inherent part of the input factors for the production of stainless steel. The secondary raw material saves energy, protects natural resources and is a cost effective substitute for valuable primary raw materials.

CRONIMET trades different grades and formats of these stainless steel raw materials. All materials and residues, which are generated during the machining and processing of stainless steels and metals, will be carefully conditioned, analyzed, typified and environmentally returned to the raw material cycle.

We trade the following alloy types:

  • chromium-nickel scrap
  • chromium-nickel-molybdenum scrap
  • copper-nickel scrap

The positioning of the CRONIMET facilities at strategically important locations provides the required flexibility to quickly react to global market developments.
