Production
In recent years, the production of primary raw materials has become one of CRONIMET's other mainstays. Since 2005, our company has owned the largest copper and molybdenum mine in Armenia.
Currently, our systematic investments are increasing the tonnage of ore extracted to 12 million tons per year. We are strongly committed to further developments, since this important deposit will continue to yield raw material for about 60 years. With more than 3,000 employees, CRONIMET is one of the largest private employers in Armenia and supports numerous national educational facilities such as schools and universities.
Our future objectives include the utilization of this value-added chain in other regions. For example, in England we already produce ferrotitanium 70 from titanium scrap. For CRONIMET's customers, this is a significant step forward to assure greater safety of supply in another important future market.
