MSc in Mining Engineering(m/f), preferably with a Master in Business Administration (MBA)

Your activities:
Your perspective in this newly created position is the identification of promising and economic mineral resources and their respective mining areas. Subsequently, you will be responsible for the initial management of new and prospective mineral resource projects. However, the first and short-term focus after joining the CRONIMET Group, is your active and professional support to the mining team. Through this, right from the start of your activities, you are technically and economically supporting our involvement and our strategy development in the mining sector.
Your tasks:
- Analysis of existing and potential mining activities in regard to their technical, economical and environmental feasibility
- Research and analytical activities as well as processing of information
- Preparation of technical presentations
- Conceptualisation of mining projects in regard to required technologies, infrastructure, computer based mine planning, human resources and support to the financial modelling
- On site supervision of start ups of new mining activities and operational assistance and improvements
- Supervision of the implementation of agreed technical arrangements related to mining
- Optimization of corporate processes with an economic focus
- Communication with national and international project partners and consultants
Your profil:
- MSc in Mining Engineering, preferably with a Master in Business Administration (MBA)
- First working experience – could also be gained through a traineeship
- Good economic and financial knowledge
- Good knowledge in mining legislation
- Preparedness for national and international travel
- Open-minded and communicative personality
- Intercultural and social competence
- Good Team Player with self confidence and perseverance
- Very good knowledge in English, knowledge of other languages is an of advantage
- Good presentation skills (also in English)
- Self-initiative and preparedness for pioneering work
- Efficient self management and structured mode of operation
- Skilled use of standard software such as MS Office
- Good knowledge and experience in the use of exploration and mine planning software such as Datamine, PC Mine or Surpac
