Commercial sector
In the commercial environment our merchants or raw material purchasers play a key role. Their tasks include integral support of our trading partners from preparation of an offer to price calculation on the basis of stock market prices up to billing of goods supplied.
In close cooperation with the merchants our business administration employees in Order Processing are responsible for the entire order processing of a defined area.
In addition they record and bill the relevant trading data, prepare contracts for purchases and sales made and attend to the necessary correspondence with our national and international business partners.
Our employees in Accounting tend in operative business among others to accounts receivable/payable accounting, reconciliation of accounts and intercompany accounting. Further, the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports according to the German Commercial Code are also a part of the diverse tasks. Due to our international business foreign currencies and sales tax appraisal of the steady flow of goods are also interesting fields.

Commercial sector
Our employees in the commercial sector are responsible for the proper movement of goods. Here the right candidate must meet various requirements.
The following are detailed examples of some of the tasks:
Employees in Goods Receiving and Goods Issue coordinate the loading and unloading of trucks and the assignment of loading and /or unloading sites. Our weighbridge forms the eye. There, each truck is weighed while it is empty and when it is loaded.
The employees of Sampling take samples of incoming goods so that a comparison can be made of the supplier’s notification of dispatch and the purchase requisition. These samples are then prepared for our company lab and finally analyzed there. This forms the basis for supplier billing later on.
Our dredger operators move the non-homogenous goods with excavating grabs. These can be necessary for loading or unloading (trucks or freight cars) or for further processing (e.g. in the swarf mill or in the scrap baling press).
