CRONIMET is an efficient and dynamic specialist for stainless steel scrap, ferroalloys and primary metals together with 59 subsidiaries, business shares and representative offices on four continents.
Thanks to our worldwide 5459 staff members we are counted among the top of the world in the field of stainless steel raw materials and recycling. We also expect a further positive development in the future as the “hunger for raw material” is growing. We are in vogue with this: the region of Karlsruhe is with over 10% additional growth of national output in front of other regions in the state of Baden-Württemberg.

At CRONIMET we work together in teams. In addition to several staff positions, close collaboration between and across the departments is a general rule. Colleagues can rely on each other for mutual support and solidarity is widespread.
Within the teams there is an active transfer of information and knowledge. This ensures that a continuous exchange takes place for collective decision-making when questions arise and that holiday replacements are not a problem.

Administration building / Cafeteria
At our headquarters in Karlsruhe CRONIMET has built a new and modern six-storey administration building directly on the harbor. The stately steel and concrete construction was completed in July 2007 and provides enough space for 160 employees. After relocating from the much smaller and older administration building there is still plenty of space for future staff.
The new building has highly modern equipment. The offices are bright due to the numerous windows (in part to the floor) and support the nice work climate. All workplaces have been designed with the most modern equipment.
In addition to investing in the new administration building, two highly modern plant halls and an integrated parking deck with more than 200 parking spaces have been built so that the CRONIMET employees no longer have to wonder where they should park their cars before starting a workday.
The company also has a very nice cafeteria in which CRONIMET employees can choose between two main meals and/or the salad bar. In addition to the main meal, soup and dessert are served everyday at lunch.
The CRONIMET Group is comprised of 59 subsidiaries, participations and representations on four continents and has worldwide 5459 employees. And despite this group structure we have been able to maintain a family-like atmosphere.
The CRONIMET Group continues to be directed by the company founder and his family. Of course, the company has also reinforced management with corresponding decision-makers.
At the headquarters in Karlsruhe flat management and short communication paths ensure that the employees as well as the managerial staff know each other personally. This situation is also further promoted by joint lunch breaks in our cafeteria.
At our subsidiaries managers often at the top have been at the site for years and have close ties to the employees working there.
Regular off-the-job events take place that promote intermingling with other employees. At the headquarters in Karlsruhe there are regular company Christmas parties and summer festivals. CRONIMET is often with its own teams at company competitions, such as the canoe race at the Rhine harbor in Karlsruhe and at soccer tournaments.
